Advisory service

If you need advice about the law programme at the Faculty of Law (at any stage of your studies), you can contact the student advisory service.

The student advisory service can provide you with further information, in particular regarding

  • the content and main focus of the courses offered by the Faculty,
  • study regulations/study plans, examination regulations,
  • performance requirements and certificates,
  • transferral of academic credits earned previously (when changing degrees or universities).

It also provides advice and guidance on how to structure your studies (scheduling courses and study techniques)

How do you get in touch?

Depending on the amount of questions you have, you can either use the weekly office hours or make an individual appointment.

Weekly office hours*:
Tuesday / Thursday 9:30 - 12:00
Wednesday 13:00 - 15:00

Individual appointment:

* Please note the times when the student advisory service may not be available, as listed on the Dean’s office website.

What should you bring with you?

Please bring all documents that are relevant for your appointment.

In case you are changing your degree programme or university, the following documents are especially important:

  • list of academic credits that you have already gained,
  • a description of the respective modules.
