Examination Office


Responsibilities
 

The Examination Office at the School of Law is responsible for administering the intermediate examination and the university examination in the student's major field of legal studies according to the requirements of the Thuringian Law of Legal Studies (ThürJAG) in the formulation of January 28, 2003 and the Thuringian Education and Examination Code (ThürJAPO) of April 24, 2004vom 24.04.2004.

For this purpose the Examination Office assumes inter alia responsibility for:

- Specialized examination and examination procedure advice for students studying law for the degree of first state examination and for students with a minor in law
- Reaching decisions in accordance with the Examination Code

Organization of examination procedure

Security of the orderly administration of university examinations
- Recognition of examinations from other educational institutions
Issuance of achievement overviews, achievement certifications and examination credentials
- Processing and administering examination documents and files
